Connect a computer

  1. Install RustDesk on both computers and enter the server details above in each app.
  2. On the computer you want to reach, share its RustDesk ID with the person connecting.
  3. Start the connection and approve it on that computer, or enter its configured access password.

For unattended access, set a strong, unique password on the remote computer and share it only with the person you trust. Keep RustDesk updated and disable unattended access when you no longer need it.

This open-source server provides RustDesk’s ID and relay services. It is not a browser-based desktop or an account-management portal. Connections use direct peer-to-peer networking when possible and the relay when needed.
